Preparing the Dough
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the Greek yogurt and olive oil to the flour mixture, stirring until combined.
- Fold in the crumbled feta cheese, chopped Kalamata olives, and dried oregano until evenly mixed.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently until it comes together. Don't overwork the dough!
- Roll out the dough to about 1/2 inch thick, then cut it into strips.
- Place the bread sticks on the prepared baking sheet.
- Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the sticks. If you like, sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
Baking
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the sticks are golden brown and cooked through.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy the feta & olive bread sticks warm!
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days; freeze for longer storage.
