Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup Kalamata olives, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 each egg (for egg wash)
  • Sesame seeds (optional, for topping)

Method
 

Preparing the Dough
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the Greek yogurt and olive oil to the flour mixture, stirring until combined.
  4. Fold in the crumbled feta cheese, chopped Kalamata olives, and dried oregano until evenly mixed.
  5. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently until it comes together. Don't overwork the dough!
  6. Roll out the dough to about 1/2 inch thick, then cut it into strips.
  7. Place the bread sticks on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the sticks. If you like, sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
Baking
  1. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the sticks are golden brown and cooked through.
  2. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy the feta & olive bread sticks warm!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days; freeze for longer storage.
