Ingredients

  • 3 cups frozen hash browns
  • 3/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack pepper cheese
  • 1 cup cubed cooked ham
  • 1/4 cup green onion, well chopped
  • 4 well beaten eggs
  • 1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Spread the frozen hash browns evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded Monterey Jack pepper cheese over the hash browns.
  5. Distribute the cubed cooked ham and chopped green onion evenly over the cheese layer.
Mixing
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the beaten eggs, evaporated milk, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
  2. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the ingredients in the baking dish.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the casserole is set and the top is golden brown.
  2. Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
