Preparation
- Dry the wings really well with paper towels and place them in a medium bowl.
- Add the salt, chili powder, garlic, and baking powder. Gently rub the seasoning all over the wings, ensuring even coverage. Set aside.
Cooking
- Lightly rub the cooking rack of your air fryer with some cooking oil to reduce sticking.
- Arrange the chicken wings on the rack with space between them for air circulation.
- Place the rack with the wings inside the air fryer. Set the temperature to 410°F and the cooking time to 20 minutes. If your air fryer only goes to 400°F, set it to 400°F and cook for 22 minutes.
- For extra crispy wings, add 5 more minutes to the cooking time.
- Check the wings for doneness; they should be deep golden brown. If not, cook for another 3-5 minutes.
- Carefully remove the wings from the air fryer and arrange them on a plate or serving platter.
- Serve immediately, or let them rest for 5 minutes if tossing with a hot wing sauce or BBQ sauce.

Notes
Make sure the wings are completely dry before seasoning to achieve the crispiest texture. Avoid overcrowding the air fryer. Cook in batches if necessary. Experiment with different seasoning blends for unique flavors.
