- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place an 8x8-inch baking dish with 1 inch of water.
- In a bowl, mix beaten egg, eggnog, and sugar. Pour into two small baking dishes. Sprinkle nutmeg on top.
- Place the smaller baking dishes into the larger one with water, ensuring water reaches halfway up the sides.
- Bake until custard tops are set, about 35-45 minutes. Cool before serving.
