- In a large bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until you achieve a smooth and thickened consistency.
- Carefully fold in the thawed whipped topping until the mixture is fully combined.
- Arrange a single layer of graham crackers in the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish.
- Spread half of the pudding mixture evenly over the layer of crackers.
- Add another layer of graham crackers, followed by the remaining pudding mixture spread on top.
- Finish by layering with another set of graham crackers on top.
- Spread the softened chocolate frosting evenly over the final layer of crackers.
- Cover the dish and refrigerate for a minimum of 6 hours or preferably overnight to allow the crackers to soften and the flavors to meld.
- Once chilled, slice and serve cool.
