  • 3 cups cold milk Make sure your milk is well-chilled for the best pudding consistency.
  • 1 tub 8-ounce tub of whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed Consider using homemade whipped cream for a fresher flavor.
  • 1 can 16-ounce can of chocolate frosting Unwrap and microwave for about 15 seconds to soften.

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until you achieve a smooth and thickened consistency.
  2. Carefully fold in the thawed whipped topping until the mixture is fully combined.
  3. Arrange a single layer of graham crackers in the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish.
  4. Spread half of the pudding mixture evenly over the layer of crackers.
  5. Add another layer of graham crackers, followed by the remaining pudding mixture spread on top.
  6. Finish by layering with another set of graham crackers on top.
  7. Spread the softened chocolate frosting evenly over the final layer of crackers.
  8. Cover the dish and refrigerate for a minimum of 6 hours or preferably overnight to allow the crackers to soften and the flavors to meld.
  9. Once chilled, slice and serve cool.
