  • 1 small box instant vanilla pudding mix (4 serving size)
  • 1-2 tablespoons root beer extract Increase root beer for flavor if extract is unavailable.
  • 1 container Cool Whip (8 oz, thawed) Make sure to properly thaw before using.
  • 1 prepared graham cracker crust
  • Cherries and whipped cream for garnish
  • Crushed root beer barrel candy

Preparation
  1. Whisk together the root beer, milk, root beer extract, and pudding mix in a large bowl for about 2 minutes, or until the mixture thickens.
  2. Gently fold in the Cool Whip until well combined and fluffy.
  3. Scoop the creamy mixture into the prepared graham cracker crust and spread it evenly.
  4. Cover the pie and freeze for at least 8 hours; overnight is best.
  5. When ready to serve, slice into 8 pieces and garnish with whipped cream, cherries, and crushed root beer barrel candy.
  6. Store any leftover pie in the freezer.
