Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the Italian sausage, breaking it into small pieces as it browns.
- Once the sausage is cooked, add the diced onions and bell pepper and sauté until softened.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
Assembly
- Layer the cooked sausage mixture, pepperoni, and mozzarella cheese on the bottom rolls.
- Place the top halves of the rolls on top.
- Brush garlic butter on the roll tops and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Baking
- Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese melts and the tops are golden brown.
- Serve warm.
Notes
For a fun twist, serve with marinara sauce for dipping, a garden salad, or crispy potato chips. Store cooled leftovers wrapped tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil in the fridge for up to three days, or freeze for longer storage.
