Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 12 pieces Hawaiian slider rolls
  • 1 pound Italian sausage Can substitute with ground turkey
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 medium bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices Can substitute with turkey or veggie options
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
Toppings
  • 1/4 cup garlic butter Brushed on top for flavor
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the Italian sausage, breaking it into small pieces as it browns.
  3. Once the sausage is cooked, add the diced onions and bell pepper and sauté until softened.
  4. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
Assembly
  1. Layer the cooked sausage mixture, pepperoni, and mozzarella cheese on the bottom rolls.
  2. Place the top halves of the rolls on top.
  3. Brush garlic butter on the roll tops and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Baking
  1. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese melts and the tops are golden brown.
  2. Serve warm.
