Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, toss the sliced peaches with 1/2 cup of sugar and the ground cinnamon. Pour them into a greased baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Pour in the milk and melted butter, stirring gently until everything is just combined.
- Pour the batter over the peaches in the baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Baking
- Place it in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbly.
- Serve warm, optionally topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
