Main Ingredients
  • 1 package 1 package (36 cookies, 530g) Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz 8 oz cream cheese, brick-style Can substitute with vegan cream cheese
  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 10 oz 10 oz (284g) Ghirardelli melting wafers Can substitute with dairy-free chocolate

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the Oreo cookies into a food processor and pulse until they become fine crumbs.
  2. In a stand mixer, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy, about 4 minutes. Reserve 2 tablespoons of Oreo crumbs, then add the rest to the cream cheese along with the vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
  3. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Scoop the Oreo mixture and roll it into 1-inch balls, then chill in the freezer for at least 15 minutes.
Coating
  1. Melt the chocolate according to the package instructions.
  2. Dip the Oreo balls into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are well coated, and place them back on the lined sheet.
  3. Immediately garnish with reserved cookie crumbs or colorful sprinkles after coating.
  4. Let the truffles set, then serve or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks.
