  • 1 box Yellow cake mix Can substitute with white cake mix
  • 1/2 cup Butter, melted
  • 1 piece Egg You'll need a total of 3 eggs
For the filling
  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened For a creamier filling, use full-fat cream cheese
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 pieces Eggs

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, melted butter, and one egg until well mixed and a dough forms; this will serve as your crust.
  3. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth. Add in the remaining two eggs and mix until thoroughly combined.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the prepared crust, spreading it evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake for approximately 35 minutes or until the edges start to turn golden brown.
  2. Once baked, allow the bars to cool completely. Slice them into squares and serve!
