Ingredients
  

For the brownie bars
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted Melted using preferred method.
  • 1 box Ghirardelli Double Chocolate Brownie Mix
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup butterscotch morsels
  • 1 cup Ghirardelli semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans Can be substituted.
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14 oz.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil, spraying it with cooking spray.
  2. Melt the butter using your preferred method—microwave, stovetop, or in the prepared pan.
  3. Pour the melted butter into the bottom of the pan, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
  4. Sprinkle the brownie mix over the melted butter and stir to combine.
  5. Layer the shredded coconut, semi-sweet chocolate chips, butterscotch morsels, and chopped nuts over the brownie mix.
  6. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the top and add a few extra chocolate and butterscotch chips for good measure.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow the bars to cool on a wire rack before cutting them into squares.
