Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
- Cut the French bread loaf lengthwise and place it cut-side up on a baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, garlic powder, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning.
- Spread this mixture evenly on each side of the bread.
- Top the bread with the shredded Colby Jack and mozzarella cheese.
Baking
- Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes until the butter is melted and the cheese is bubbly.
- For an extra crisp top, you can broil it for 1-2 minutes at the end.
Serving
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired and serve hot from the oven.

Notes
