  • 1 tsp garlic powder Fresh garlic can also be used.
  • 1 tsp dried basil Feel free to substitute with other herbs.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, dried basil, salt, and pepper.
  • Place chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the honey Dijon mixture over them.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
  • Garnish with fresh thyme before serving.

Notes

Let the chicken marinate in the honey Dijon mixture for at least 30 minutes for extra flavor. Check the chicken's internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (75°C). You can add chopped vegetables like bell peppers or zucchini to the baking dish for extra taste.
