Preparation
- Start with a completely frozen ribeye steak.
- Brush both sides of the steak with avocado oil.
- Season generously with coarse salt or your favorite steak seasoning.
Cooking
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the seasoned steak in the preheated air fryer.
- Cook for 8–12 minutes on each side, aiming for about 10 minutes on each side for medium doneness.
- Remove the steak and let it rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing.
- Use a meat thermometer to check the temperature: 130°F for medium-rare, 140°F for medium, 150°F for medium-well.

Notes
Let leftover steak cool down to room temperature, then wrap in plastic wrap or foil and store in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Make sure to wrap well to prevent freezer burn. Don't skip the resting time to help the juices redistribute in the steak.
