Ingredients
  

Pasta and Sauce
  • 1 lb ziti pasta, uncooked
  • 3 cups chicken stock
  • 1 jar (24 oz) pasta sauce
  • 2 tbsp Italian seasoning
Meat and Cheese
  • 1 pkg (24 oz) thawed turkey meatballs
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Optional Garnish
  • to taste Fresh basil optional for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425℉.
  2. In a 9x13 casserole dish, combine the uncooked ziti, chicken stock, pasta sauce, and Italian seasoning. Stir to ensure the pasta is well coated.
  3. Add the turkey meatballs on top. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  4. After 30 minutes, uncover and stir the mixture. Check the pasta; if it's still crunchy, cover again and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Top with mozzarella cheese and bake uncovered for 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Allow the casserole to rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil, if desired.
