Cooking the Beef
- In a pan over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain all excess grease except for about 3 tablespoons.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and let it simmer briefly before removing it from heat.
Cooking the Pasta
- Cook the rotini pasta according to the package instructions, drain, and set aside.
Mixing the Salad
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped sweet pepper, diced onion, halved grape tomatoes, cooked pasta, and taco beef mixture.
- Add the shredded cheddar cheese, iceberg lettuce, French dressing, and sour cream. Toss everything together until well combined.
- Finish by topping off the salad with crushed nacho cheese Doritos. Adjust the seasoning if needed and serve!
