Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan and set it aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract together.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring just until combined. Do not overmix; it's okay if a few lumps remain.
- In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and ground cinnamon to create the filling.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the batter. Add the remaining batter and gently spread it to cover. Top with the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Use a knife to swirl the mixture into the batter for a marbled look.
Baking
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Icing and Serving
- While the bread cools, mix together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl until smooth.
- Once the bread cools slightly, drizzle the icing generously on top and enjoy.

Notes
