  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes Optional for heat.
  • ½ cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes In oil, drained.
  • 2 tbsp butter Add during the last 30 minutes of cooking.

  • for garnish Fresh basil or parsley

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  3. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the crockpot and pour the creamy sauce over them, ensuring they’re well coated.
  4. Sprinkle the drained sun-dried tomatoes over the top.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours or HIGH for 2 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  6. Add the butter during the last 30 minutes, stirring to incorporate it into the sauce.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley just before serving.
