  • 1 can creamy chicken soup or homemade gravy mix You can replace with a vegetarian alternative if needed.
  • 1 cup chicken broth or water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken in the crockpot.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup or gravy mix with the chicken broth and seasonings.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken, ensuring it’s well-coated.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
  2. Shred the chicken with two forks in the last hour of cooking for a more texture-rich experience.
  3. Stir the gravy before serving.
