Preparation
  1. Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper to taste, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
  2. Place the seasoned chicken in the Crockpot, positioning it so the skin side is up.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the chicken gravy mix and chicken broth until smooth.
  4. Pour the gravy mixture directly over the chicken, covering it completely.
  5. Set the Crockpot on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Check for doneness to ensure that the chicken is fully cooked through and easily shredded with a fork before serving.
