  • 1 package Biscuit dough Fresh or canned
  • 1 pound Breakfast sausage Cooked and crumbled
  • 1 can Cream of mushroom soup Adds creaminess
  • 1 cup Milk For a smooth consistency
  • to taste Seasoning Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Crumble the cooked sausage at the bottom of your crockpot.
  2. Pour the cream of mushroom soup over the sausage, followed by the milk. Mix to incorporate.
  3. Tear the biscuit dough into pieces and place them evenly over the top of the mixture.
Cooking
  1. Cover the crockpot and set it on low for about 4 hours or high for about 2 hours.
  2. The biscuits will rise and absorb the flavors from the gravy as they cook.
Serving
  1. Once done, carefully stir to mix the layers, and enjoy your cozy dish right from the pot.
