  • 1.5 cups apple butter Creates a sweet and tangy base.

  1. Begin by placing the chicken breasts at the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. Pour in 1 ½ cups of BBQ sauce followed by the apple butter.
  3. Cover the slow cooker and set it to high for 3-4 hours or low for 5-7 hours, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  4. Once the chicken is cooked, shred it using a fork and stir in the remaining ½ cup of BBQ sauce.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately on burger buns, over mashed potatoes, or in wraps.
