  1. In a bowl, mix the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Allow this to sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes foamy.
  2. In another bowl, combine the flour and salt.
  3. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the dry ingredients, stirring until well combined.
  4. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Transfer the dough into a greased crock pot, cover it, and let it rise for 1-2 hours until it has doubled in size.
Cooking
  1. Cook on low for 2-3 hours or until the bread sounds hollow when tapped and is golden brown.
  2. Carefully remove the loaf and allow it to cool before slicing.
