  • 1 piece Ham (pre-cooked, spiral cut – bone-in or boneless) Either bone-in or boneless ham can be used.
  • 3.5 cups brown sugar Divided into two portions for layering.
  • 0.5 cup raw natural honey For drizzling over the ham.
  • 20 oz can pineapple tidbits or chunks Do not drain the juice; add it around the ham.

Preparation
  1. In a large crock pot (6-quart or larger), cover the bottom with 2 cups of brown sugar.
  2. Place the ham on top of the brown sugar, gently opening the slices with your hands to allow the flavors to seep in.
  3. Pour the honey evenly over the ham.
  4. Add the pineapple around the sides (with the juice) and some on top.
  5. Top the ham with the remaining 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar, ensuring it is evenly distributed.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
