Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pounds small potatoes Golden or red work best
  • 1 stick salted butter Melted
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese Can swap for different cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a 9x13 baking pan, melt one stick of salted butter.
  3. Cut each potato in half and score the cut side with an X using a knife.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Baking
  1. Sprinkle most of the seasoning mixture onto the melted butter at the bottom of the pan, while reserving about 1 heaping tablespoon.
  2. Place the potatoes cut side down into the pan on top of the seasoning and cheese.
  3. Drizzle the tops of the potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle on the reserved tablespoon of seasoning.
  4. Bake uncovered for about 40 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and golden brown.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy the blissful combination of flavors!
