Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a 9x13 baking pan, melt one stick of salted butter.
- Cut each potato in half and score the cut side with an X using a knife.
- In a small bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Baking
- Sprinkle most of the seasoning mixture onto the melted butter at the bottom of the pan, while reserving about 1 heaping tablespoon.
- Place the potatoes cut side down into the pan on top of the seasoning and cheese.
- Drizzle the tops of the potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle on the reserved tablespoon of seasoning.
- Bake uncovered for about 40 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy the blissful combination of flavors!
