  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder Optional for a spicy kick.

Preparation
  1. Begin by washing and scrubbing your potatoes thoroughly; keeping the skins on adds texture.
  2. Use a sharp knife or mandoline slicer to cut the potatoes into ¼-inch thick slices.
Soaking
  1. Soak the potato slices in a bowl of cold water for about 15-20 minutes.
  2. After soaking, drain the potatoes and pat them completely dry with a towel.
Seasoning
  1. In a large bowl, toss the potato slices with olive oil and the seasonings—salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, and oregano.
  2. Ensure all slices are evenly coated for the best flavor.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
  2. Arrange the slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure not to overlap them.
  3. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden and crispy.
Serving
  1. Once they’re done, remove the potatoes from the air fryer and let them cool slightly.
  2. If desired, sprinkle with a bit more salt and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
