Preparation
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
- Toss the wings with baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika until well coated.
- Let the seasoned wings sit at room temperature for 15 minutes, or refrigerate uncovered for up to 8 hours.
Air Frying
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 3 minutes.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer and cook for 12 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 10-12 minutes, until they are golden and reach an internal temperature of at least 165°F (74°C).
- For an extra crispy finish, crank the temperature up to 400°F (204°C) and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Glazing & Serving
- Whisk together the optional glaze ingredients (honey, soy sauce, melted butter, and minced garlic).
- Toss the hot wings in the glaze or serve it as a side for dipping. Enjoy them immediately for the best texture.
