  • 500 g 500g chicken tenders or thinly sliced chicken breast strips Use fresh chicken for the best results.
  • 3 large 3 large egg yolks
  • 1 cup 1 cup breadcrumbs Use panko for extra crunch.
  • ½ cup ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese Optional for added flavor.
  • 1 tsp 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil spray or non-stick cooking spray For spraying the air fryer basket.

Preparation
  1. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  2. In a bowl, whisk the egg yolks with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. In a shallow bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Dip each chicken tender into the egg yolk mixture, then dredge it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to ensure even coating.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (350°F) for 3–5 minutes.
  2. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  3. Place the breaded chicken tenders in a single layer in the basket, ensuring they don’t touch; cook in batches if needed.
  4. Lightly spray the tops with olive oil spray.
  5. Air fry at 180°C (350°F) for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the coating is golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).
Serving
  1. Remove from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes
