Preparation
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for a few minutes.
- Set up a coating station with three components: flour on one plate, beaten eggs in a shallow bowl, and breadcrumbs or panko on another plate.
- Season the fish fillets with salt and pepper on both sides to enhance the flavor.
Coating and Cooking
- Dredge each fillet in the flour, shaking off the excess. Then dip in the beaten eggs, ensuring it's well-coated. Finally, press into the breadcrumbs or panko until fully covered.
- Place the coated fillets in the preheated air fryer basket. For a crispier texture, mist lightly with oil.
- Air-fry for about 8–10 minutes or until cooked through and reaching an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Remove fillets from the air fryer and let them rest for 1 minute.
Serving
- Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side and your favorite sides.
