Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, use a mixer to combine the softened cream cheese, lemon juice, pure vanilla extract, and white sugar until well-mixed. Set aside.
- Open the crescent roll tubes without unrolling them. Use a sharp knife to slice them into thick pieces.
- Lay each slice on a parchment-lined cookie sheet.
- With your fingers or a small measuring cup, form a little wall around the edge of each slice to hold the filling.
Assembly
- In a separate bowl, brush melted butter over each danish and mix in the light brown sugar. Brush this mixture generously over the danishes.
- Dollop a generous amount of the cream cheese filling into the center of each danish.
Baking
- Bake for about 16-18 minutes, until the edges are golden brown.
- Once out of the oven, let the danishes cool before drizzling with the glaze made from powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk.

Notes
