  1. Cook rice according to the package instructions and set it aside.
  2. In a saucepan, combine milk, sugar, and salt. Heat over medium until warm.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and gradually add the warm milk mixture, stirring constantly to prevent scrambling.
  4. Return the combined mixture to the saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring until it thickens.
  5. Stir in the cooked rice, vanilla extract, and cinnamon, mixing well.
  6. Add raisins if desired for an extra sweetness and texture.
  7. Serve warm or chilled.
