  • 1 pie crust 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup 1 cup whole pecans Use fresh pecans. Toasting them is recommended.
  • 1 cup 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup powdered sugar Adjust to taste for sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  • Blind-bake the pie crust according to package instructions until lightly golden. Let it cool completely.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, cornstarch, and salt.
  • Whisk the mixture until smooth and well combined.
  • Gently fold in the pecans.
  • Pour the pecan filling into the cooled pie crust.
  • Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours or until set.
  • Serve chilled and enjoy your creamy pecan pie experience.

Notes

Make sure to let the pie crust cool completely before adding the filling to maintain texture. For added flavor, consider adding a splash of bourbon or maple syrup, or chocolate chips for a chocolatey twist.
