Preparation
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and let it cool for 5-10 minutes.
- While the pasta cooks, prep the rest of the ingredients. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sausage, broccoli, red onion, tomatoes, olives, and cheese.
- In a separate small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, Italian dressing, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
- Allow the cooked pasta to cool for about 5 minutes, then add it to the sausage mixture.
- Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and stir well.
- Cover the salad and place it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
