Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 8 oz penne pasta

Seafood

  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled & deveined)

Cooking Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Cooking the Pasta

  • Boil penne in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cooking the Shrimp

  • Heat olive oil in a pan. Cook shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove from pan.

Making the Sauce

  • In the same pan, sauté garlic until fragrant. Add cream, mozzarella, Parmesan, and red pepper flakes. Stir until smooth.

Combining Ingredients

  • Return shrimp to the pan, then toss in pasta. Stir to coat everything in the creamy sauce.
  • Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley and serve hot!

Notes

Make sure not to overcook the shrimp; they cook quickly and become rubbery if left too long. Feel free to add your favorite veggies, like spinach or cherry tomatoes, for extra nutrition. If you want a little kick, increase the red pepper flakes or add hot sauce. For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream and use whole wheat pasta for added fiber.
