Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Optional: lemon wedges for serving

Preparation

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.

Cooking

  • Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine, ensuring the pasta is well coated in the creamy sauce.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm, optionally with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Make sure to cook the shrimp just until they are pink and opaque; overcooking can make them tough. If you want a bit of spice, add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes. You can add vegetables like spinach, cherry tomatoes, or bell peppers for extra color and nutrition.
