Filling ingredients
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups cooked chicken diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
Wrap ingredients
  • 8 pieces flour or corn tortillas your choice
  • 1 cup oil for frying

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, diced cooked chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, and shredded pepper jack cheese. Mix until everything is well combined.
  2. Take a tortilla and add a generous spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center. Roll it up tightly, securing the filling inside.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Carefully fry the taquitos in the hot oil until they’re golden brown and crispy, rotating to ensure even cooking.
  3. Once cooked, remove the taquitos from the oil and drain them on paper towels. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces!
