Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, fresh spinach, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, half of the shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended.
- If desired, stir in the cooked pasta at this point.
- Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish and spread it out evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top, along with breadcrumbs if using.
Baking
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
