  • 1 tbsp olive oil For searing the chicken.
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning Adjust based on spice preference.
  • to taste Salt & pepper For seasoning.
  • 8 oz linguine Or any preferred pasta.
  • 2 tbsp butter For the sauce.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Adds flavor to the sauce.
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, diced For the sauce.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can be substituted with light cream for a lighter version.
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth Or vegetable broth for a vegetarian option.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan For a creamy finish.
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional) Adds a smoky flavor.
  • to garnish Chopped fresh parsley For presentation.

Cooking Instructions

  • Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Combine the chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sear in olive oil over medium-high heat until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, melt the butter. Sauté garlic and bell pepper for 1–2 minutes.
  • Add cream, broth, paprika, and bring to a simmer.
  • Stir in Parmesan until melted and smooth.
  • Add the cooked linguine and chicken to the pan. Toss to coat in the sauce.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

This dish also pairs well with a fresh garden salad or steamed vegetables. You can add a sprinkle of extra Parmesan cheese and serve with crusty bread.
