Preparing Cream Cheese Mixture:
- Place softened cream cheese in a large bowl.
- Using a mixer or wooden spoon, blend in chipped beef and green onions until fully incorporated.
- Once mixed, add garlic and onion powders to the mixture. (Add salt if desired, based on taste.)
Shaping and Chilling:
- Transfer the mixture to a sheet of plastic wrap, then seal tightly and shape it into a ball.
- Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes or until firm.
Serving and Garnishing:
- Unwrap the chilled cheese ball and serve with crackers.
