Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 1 lb chicken breast, seasoned and cooked until golden brown
Pasta
  • 12 oz fettuccini pasta Cook according to package instructions.
Alfredo Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese Use freshly grated for best flavor.
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Cook the fettuccini pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Making the Alfredo Sauce
  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combining Ingredients
  1. Slice the cooked chicken breast and add it to the sauce. Stir to combine and heat through.
  2. Add the cooked fettuccini pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated with the sauce.
Serving
  1. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
