  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened Use room temperature cream cheese for easier spreading.
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons butter For cooking the roll-ups.
For the Glaze
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk For the glaze.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  2. Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice of bread. Spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture on each slice.
  3. Roll each slice tightly, securing the filling inside. Set aside as you prepare the egg mixture.
Cooking
  1. In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until combined.
  2. Dip each roll-up in the egg mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated on all sides.
  3. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Place the roll-ups in the skillet, cooking and turning occasionally until golden brown on all sides.
Finishing Touches
  1. In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar with milk to form a glaze.
  2. Drizzle the glaze over warm roll-ups and enjoy immediately.
