  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 large eggs Add one at a time, mixing well between each.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease or flour a round cake pan.
  2. Beat the cream cheese until smooth in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the sugar to the cream cheese and mix well.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is mixed in before adding the next.
  5. Mix in the vanilla extract and melted butter.
  6. Carefully mix in the flour until just combined; don’t overmix.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
Baking
  1. Bake for 45-50 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  2. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Serving
  1. Slice and serve with desired toppings such as fresh fruits, whipped cream, or chocolate sauce.
