  • 4 cups tater tots
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Can use leftover rotisserie chicken.
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded Feel free to substitute with dairy-free cheese.
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing Substitute with BBQ sauce for a different flavor.
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped Optional, for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, ranch dressing, cheddar cheese, and crumbled bacon. Mix until fully incorporated.
  3. Spray a casserole dish with cooking spray, and spread half of the tater tots evenly on the bottom.
  4. Pour the chicken mixture over the tater tots, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Top with the remaining tater tots, ensuring they cover the chicken mixture.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  2. If desired, sprinkle chopped green onions on top just before serving.
