Preparation
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, and powdered sugar. Stir well until the mixture is smooth.
- Gently fold in the drained crab meat, being careful not to break it apart too much.
- Take one wonton wrapper and place a tablespoon of the crab mixture in the center.
- Brush a small amount of water on all four edges of the wonton wrapper.
- Pinch the corners together, sealing them completely to avoid any leakage during frying.
Frying
- In a large pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Carefully fry the wontons for about 1-2 minutes, or until they are lightly golden brown.
- Once cooked, allow them to cool on a paper towel to absorb any excess oil.
