Ingredients
  

For the Bread
  • 3-4 bananas super ripe bananas The browner, the better for sweetness.
  • 1/2 cup melted butter Can be substituted with vegetable oil or coconut oil.
  • 3/4 cup sugar Can reduce amount for less sweetness, or substitute with honey or maple syrup.
  • 1 piece egg Can be substituted with flaxseed meal for a vegan option.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour Can be substituted with whole wheat flour or almond flour.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a big bowl.
  3. Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
  4. Add in the sugar, egg, and vanilla. Mix until blended.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine baking soda and salt, then add to the mixture.
  6. Pour in all-purpose flour and fold together until just mixed — batter should be lumpy.
  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared loaf pan.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 50-60 minutes, or until a wooden skewer poked in the center comes out clean.
Cooling
  1. Let the bread cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
