Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, mix the sliced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and optional chopped pecans until well combined. Set aside.
- Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and separate them. Roll each one into a flat circle and place a scoop of the apple mixture in the center. Fold the edges over to create a pocket. Repeat until all rolls are filled.
- Arrange the filled cinnamon rolls closely together in the prepared baking dish.
Baking
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth and creamy. Drizzle this mixture over the cinnamon rolls.
- Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown.
- For an extra touch, drizzle caramel sauce over the top before serving. Allow it to cool for 5-10 minutes, then slice and enjoy!
