Ingredients
  

For the Apple Filling
  • 2 cans 2 (8-ounce) cans of refrigerated cinnamon rolls
  • 2 cups 2 cups of peeled and sliced apples (about 2 medium apples)
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup of chopped pecans (optional) Feel free to swap with walnuts or omit for a nut-free version.
For the Cream Cheese Drizzle
  • 1 cup 1 cup of cream cheese, softened Ensure it's at room temperature for smooth blending.
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup of milk
For Serving
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup of caramel sauce (optional) Drizzle over the dessert for extra flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the sliced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and optional chopped pecans until well combined. Set aside.
  3. Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and separate them. Roll each one into a flat circle and place a scoop of the apple mixture in the center. Fold the edges over to create a pocket. Repeat until all rolls are filled.
  4. Arrange the filled cinnamon rolls closely together in the prepared baking dish.
Baking
  1. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth and creamy. Drizzle this mixture over the cinnamon rolls.
  2. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown.
  3. For an extra touch, drizzle caramel sauce over the top before serving. Allow it to cool for 5-10 minutes, then slice and enjoy!
