Ingredients
  

For the Lasagna
  • 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
  • 4 cups apple pie filling
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg (optional) for a warm spice kick
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • Caramel sauce for drizzling

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.
  2. Squish half of the cinnamon rolls flat and arrange them in the bottom to form a nice crust.
Assembly
  1. Spread half of the apple pie filling evenly over the pressed rolls. Sprinkle with cinnamon and optional nutmeg.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the whipped topping.
  3. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the apple filling. Repeat the layering process with the remaining cinnamon rolls, apples, and cream cheese mixture.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 30–35 minutes, or until the top turns golden brown and bubbly.
Serving
  1. Let the dessert cool for about 10 minutes. Drizzle with the reserved icing from the cinnamon rolls and caramel sauce. Serve warm.
