Ingredients
  

For the Cupcakes
  • 1 tube Crescent roll dough Use gluten-free for a gluten-free option.
  • 3 cups Crunchy apples, cut into small pieces (like Granny Smith) Feel free to use different types of apples.
  • 1/4 cup Butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
For the Glaze
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Milk

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and spray your muffin pan to prevent sticking.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the apple chunks with melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Stir until the apples are coated.
  3. Spoon the apple mixture onto the wide end of each triangle of crescent dough and roll it up tightly.
  4. Arrange the rolled dough in the muffin cups.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes, or until puffed up and golden brown.
  2. While baking, prepare the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar, maple syrup, and milk until smooth.
  3. Remove the cupcakes from the oven and drizzle the glaze over them while they are still hot.
