Ingredients
  

Vegetables
  • 1 broccoli (chopped into florets)
  • 1 cauliflower (chopped into florets)
  • 1 red onion (thinly sliced)
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes (halved)
Dressing
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Can use non-dairy mayonnaise for dietary needs.
  • 1/2 cup sour cream Can use Greek yogurt as an alternative.
  • 1 tbsp cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional) Optional for added creaminess.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Add the broccoli florets, cauliflower florets, sliced red onion, and halved cherry tomatoes into a large mixing bowl.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, cider vinegar, pepper, and sugar until smooth.
  3. Pour the dressing over the veggies and toss everything together until well coated.
  4. Place the salad in the fridge for at least one hour before serving to let the flavors mingle.
Serving
  1. Serve in a large bowl for a family-style presentation or portion it into individual servings.
