Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup mayonnaise Use full-fat mayonnaise for best results.
  • 1 cup water Can substitute half with brewed coffee for added flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dry Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour Can substitute with gluten-free flour blend.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, water, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  2. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes
